We went to the big formula 3 car race on a beautiful sunny Saturday. Canadian friends, and fellow teachers, Brooks and Jeromie Menschal escorted us along with their two sons in tow, to the race track where, thanks to Brooks, we were able to meet the president of the South Korean Car Racing Association. His name is "Joe" and a very kind man who showed us all around pit row explaining everything, answering all our questions with his Korean/Australian accent! He even invited us up in the control tower where the TV cameras are, and treated us like royalty. The next day, Sunday, the South Korean President was up in the same tower! It was a great day with a high temperature of about 20 Celsius which is a warm November day for us Canuckleheads!
